Preview of my visual book titled “Awakened” which aims to visually communicate the time of day we know as dusk.

Dusk is an interesting time of the day — a transitional period between day and night, full of emotions and power. My book aims to communicate the beauty and power that exists within dusk. Many images show in detail the beautiful colors formed during dusk. It’s also a mysterious time as nobody knows how the night will end and how the colors in the sky will turn out to be. The book goes on to discuss how powerful dusk truly is. It is full of transitions and marks the end of a day. Once the day is gone, fate favors nobody. Tomorrow is not promised. Dusk marks the end of a journey and gives us hope for the possibility of a new one. The feelings can be bittersweet.
