We’re excited to see Goldswarm featured in Thirst Colorado for its role in Breckenridge Honey Whiskey, a story that connects Colorado roots, West African honey, and a whole lot of craft spirit character.
From hive to barrel, this collaboration shows what happens when an ingredient carries a story just as rich as its flavor. Congratulations to Goldswarm Honey and Omar Lababidi on this well-deserved spotlight!

Brand Protection PR™ Takeaway — Customer Loyalty:
Stories like this help audiences connect with a brand beyond the product. When people understand the origin, values, and meaning behind what they’re buying, it helps build the “know, like, and trust” foundation that turns awareness into loyalty.
A concert kiss cam clip, a few seconds of shocking footage, and suddenly, a company’s leadership, employee trust, and public credibility are all on the line.
In this Move the Stairs episode, we break down the “Astronomer” viral moment through the lens of Brand Protection PR; what to do first, why silence invites the internet to fill in the blanks, and how to communicate clearly when the crisis is personal but the fallout is corporate.
We also dig into the crisis planning that most companies forget, employee-first communication, succession planning, and getting a credible statement out fast enough to stop rumor-driven narratives from taking over.

How do you take a complex health topic and make it clearer for patients and caregivers?
The M&C Communications team had the opportunity to support LCFA: Lung Cancer Foundation of America last week in Miami for another Living with Lung Cancer: Ask Me Anything podcast focused on SubQ, along with a record-breaking satellite media tour. Featuring guests James Hiter, Stephanie Williams, and Dr. Coral Olazagasti of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, the podcast helped make SubQ easier to understand for patients and caregivers.
Brand Protection PR™ moment: The goal was to keep the message clear as it moved from the podcast mic to broadcast interviews. At a time when media outlets are looking for timely health content, the SMT helped bring expert voices and useful information to more viewers.

What do Colorado roots, West African honey, and the Denver Broncos have in common?
Omar Lababidi.
In the latest episode of the Move the Stairs podcast, we sit down with Omar, founder and CEO of Goldswarm, to hear how one unforgettable spoonful of Nigerian honey turned into a global mission.
You’ll hear how Goldswarm’s farmer-first model:
- Trains smallholder beekeepers
- Helps prevent deforestation and protect forests
- Builds trust through partnerships with universities and global brands
And then there’s the full-circle moment: Goldswarm Honey is now featured in Breckenridge Distillery’s Denver Broncos Limited Edition Honey Whiskey, giving Omar a powerful, personal “homecoming” in Colorado while supporting livelihoods in Nigeria.
Watch the episode to see how Omar is building a bridge between Nigeria and the U.S. through agro-marketing, storytelling, and a whole lot of heart.
