MRC exists to break down barriers to self-sufficiency and mental wellness.

Through holistic programs, community connection, and collaborative support, cycles will be broken, families will be strengthened, and lives will be transformed. Manna Resource Center connects individuals and families in Douglas County and the surrounding area to valuable resources; as well as provides individual coaching, mental wellness, educational opportunities to learn and grow, and spaces to build community.

• Family Preservation Month •

In recognition of Family Preservation Month, we highlight the core principles that support family stability and resilience while acknowledging the vital role community plays in the healing process.

According to the Safe Families for Children Alliance, 64% of children in foster care are removed for preventable causes, such as a lack of resources and poverty, not abuse.

At MRC, we partner with organizations throughout our community to help our clients combat self-sufficiency barriers, create stability and accomplish goals. Family Preservation Month reminds us that when families receive the support they need, children and communities thrive.

• Testimonial Thursday •

“When I look to my past now, I don’t feel so alone. When I look to my future, I don’t see limitations. And when I look at my here and now? I see peace, grace, and the ability to embrace imperfection.”

• Update on New Building •

Manna Resource Center’s new building is being built as we speak!

Still located in Cherry Hills Community Church, this building will be a place where you can access MRC services while also meeting your food pantry needs through Manna Care.

This building will serve as a community resource for self-sufficiency needs and nutrition.

Join us in prayer as the new building takes shape!

"We don't arrive at the life we dream about, we practice it into being. It's what we do each day that creates the life we want, starting today”

• Quote for Today •

"Take time to process life's challenges, how they impact you and what will be your next step. It is completely okay to take a couple of days before reacting. You don't need an immediate answer for every challenge.”

- Merari Stacy - MRC Mental Health Clinician

• Mental Health Awareness •

Healing is not just about reducing symptoms. Holistic healing recognizes that stress, relationships, sleep, nutrition, trauma, community support, and access to resources all impact mental health outcomes.

Colorado Research done by the Department of Public Health and Environment found that people make greater progress when behavioral health care addresses both emotional well-being and everyday life stressors together.

At Manna Resource Center, we believe healing happens through connection, support, and practical care.

We hope mental health awareness continues far beyond a monthly observance and becomes a lifelong practice. 💚
