Congratulations to Artist Gordon Huether on winning a CODAaward for The Peaks installation. The internationally-acclaimed CODAawards celebrate projects that successfully integrate commissioned art into interior, architectural or public spaces.

The Peaks is a monumental gateway to SLC installed in 2023. Inspired by the majestic Wasatch Mountains, the five towering elements pay tribute to Utah’s five Native American tribes—Diné (Navajo), Goshute, Paiute, Shoshone and Ute—which are part of the state’s eight sovereign nations as well as the five elements of the natural world: air, earth, fire, space and water.
