Good News JC And Company is opening May 4. We are so excited to see everyone. We are following all the guidelines from Jefferson county health dept.. we love all of you and want to make sure we keep everyone safe so there are some new rules we will have to follow..
We are asking everyone to wear a mask and when you arrive at the salon please remain in your car and text your stylist or call the salon and we will let you know when to come in. We will only have 4 stylist working a day and each stylist can only take one client at a time. Please be patient

March 23 Jefferson county health department has shut down all nonessential businesses... JC and Company will be closed March 24 -April 23 We will be rescheduling everyone that has appointment in that time.

To the stylist fretting over bills and concerns for how will affect us all in the upcoming months. I am with you. To the stylist who has to make due because the supply stores have closed but your salon hasn't yet. I am with you. To the stylist alone in their salon because co-renters and coworkers have taken leave. I am with you. To the stylist who stays extra late to ultra sanitize and resanitize just in case. I am with you. To the stylists who have empty slots from cancellations but still need to be there. I am with you. To the stylist working on side hussles. I am with you.

We are in one of the oldest professions. Barber-Surgeons were real people y'all. Cosmetology has always been needed and wanted. Through depression eras to pandemics- there will always be a need for us. We don't just cut or color hair. We are the person people come to in crisis. We are the unofficial listeners and counslers to many. Because we work with people, not just hair. We are your friend, your "therapist", your trusted professional.

When the pandemic finally comes to a head and we start to recover as a world population it will be vital for us to be there for the people. They will think they need a haircut but really they will need to decompress these events. We will hear similar stories over and over again. And each story from each person will affect us. We will carry that energy and transform it into something tangible. Something beautiful and wonderful and it will give people normalcy, comfort and hope.

To my fellow shear sisters and brothers... take care of yourself now so you can take care of others later. I am with you.
