The look you get from Malibu when you go wood shopping instead of staying home and petting her all day! We're excited to announce we are making pieces ourselves as well as some local woodworkers will be donating some handmade woodcrafts for an upcoming woodcrafts auction! And we are talking about nice hardwood handcrafted pieces... No junk, MDF, or China junk from big box stores. All handcrafted here in your local community! All proceeds going to help us pay off the kennel buildings and securing land!

Scandals and Murder abound at the ranch this morning!

Dun, dun, dun... we have a whodunit! 🕵️‍♂️ Believe it or not, sweet little Malibu is the prime suspect in the merciless murder of Brock’s favorite elephant. Brock kept that toy perfectly intact, but Malibu found it this morning and... well, the fluffy crime scene speaks for itself. SHAME, Malibu, SHAME!

The founder of Big Dawg Ranch and Rescue is believed to be the key witness. Also, the public wants to know why he didn't intervene. He's declining to comment on the situation at this time. 😂🐾

Hey guys! Just a reminder for this coming holiday season! $30 gets you a keepsake of your best friend! All we need is a clear picture of your pet and we can get it done for you. Also these ship anywhere in the country for $10. These are some past examples of our work. Message us for ordering details!

🐾 Happy Giving Friday! 🐾

We have a special treat today, an update on Ghost! He is doing absolutely wonderfully. His forever family loves him to pieces and is spoiling him completely rotten.

Our big boy Clutch is getting white whiskers... 🥺

🐾 Happy Giving Friday 🐾

Unfortunately, we are canceling the current raffle due to a lack of interest. We completely understand—it cost $20 just to fill a 5-gallon gas can recently, so we know firsthand that times are extremely tight for everyone right now.

Like we always say, there is no quit in us. We are so incredibly thankful to everyone who has supported us, and for any future support we receive. We're still a dedicated 501(c)(3), and our mission hasn’t changed. We love you guys and want you all to do well!

Lately, it feels like the heavy lifting of this rescue is falling mostly on Rena and me. And honestly, that’s okay. We love these dogs, and we are going to keep saving as many as we possibly can. I'm going to make a real effort to do better at sharing updates and such. I've been investing heavily into the equipment we need for the rescue when we secure land so we can build kennels and play yards.

Please don't take this post as us being sour, angry, or negative. We're not, we are just being realistic about where things stand. Thank you again, and we hope everyone has a great Friday!
