Bub the Zombie Kitten has his neuter appointment scheduled and he is ready to move on from my house. Bub came to me with a horrible eye infection and ringworm. He looked horrible! Now he is beautiful and he needs a kitten friend to play with. He has been alone for so long and he just wants to play. He needs to be able to roll and tumble with a kitten friend because he has missed out on that being in quarantine for so long. Unfortunately he can’t play with my cats because his ringworm jumped from his quarantine to my cats. Now I am in process of their treatment. I feel horrible for him! No kitten should spend most of the first part of their life quarantined but to get him healthy that was required.

About the Day
Purpose: Created in 2011 by Wayne H. Morris to honor his late sister and her 20-year-old black cat, Sinbad.
Goals: To break old myths and bad luck superstitions, celebrate the beauty of these felines, and help shelter cats find homes.
Difference: This August date is separate from National Black Cat Day, which falls on October 27th.

Sadly, no adoptions at Pet Supermaret yesterday. But this trio is still there in the tower, putting their best paw forward. Super sociable and affectionate. What more could you ask for?
They are about 4 months old, already spayed/neutered. Have had FVRCP and Rabies vax. Microchipped.

Make sure to come visit us at Pet Supermarket in Hickory, Tomorrow, Saturday 8/15 from 11am-3pm
We have been playing musical kitties with the tower inside Pet Supermarket. The tower is a place for kitties to get extra exposure (and hopefully adopted), besides online. But the few we have rotated in recently haven't adapted well to the non-homey environment, so we've had to pull them out. Some of them were going to be at the Adoption Event, but need a little time to decompress. If there are any kitties you want to meet, fill out an app and we can schedule a meet and greet where they are comfortable.
