RAM 21

Got out this morning to test out my prototype walking bait. I’ve been calling it the “peanut”. It’s 2.5 inches long. Made of balsa wood with a thru wire, rear weighted, and has a glass rattle. Excuse the lack of eyes, the crappy clear coat, and the remnants of the number. Caught some green sunfish and missed a good bass bite.

Here’s a few karashi style baits. They have a hand tied rear dressed treble to complete the karashi look. Can’t wait to get these into action. These bodies are almost 2.5” without hooks.

A few more finished up. A few translucent shad, crappie crank, and a couple crawfish crank baits. These will be off to their new home soon. If you see anything you like or need message or email me and I’ll get you hooked up. Prices are very reasonable for custom work.

Some recent baits finished and ready for their new home. I finally made it back into the lab. Stay tuned I will be pumping some more out soon.

Those tiny jerk baits getting murdered this morning. Then the surprise giant grass carp that ate the tiny jerk baits… still shocked by that fish! What a fight on the ultralight rod.

An impromptu kayak mission. Only caught 2 but the first one 15” was a heck of a battle on my ultralight. Chartreuse shad tiny jerk… bass are on the move here in NC.

This morning’s outing. Landed these 2 little fellas, one followed to the boat, and had a bigger one come off at the boat…. FYI check your drag. That tiny jerk bait enticing some bites.
