Those tiny jerk baits getting murdered this morning. Then the surprise giant grass carp that ate the tiny jerk baits… still shocked by that fish! What a fight on the ultralight rod.

An impromptu kayak mission. Only caught 2 but the first one 15” was a heck of a battle on my ultralight. Chartreuse shad tiny jerk… bass are on the move here in NC.

This morning’s outing. Landed these 2 little fellas, one followed to the boat, and had a bigger one come off at the boat…. FYI check your drag. That tiny jerk bait enticing some bites.

The tiny jerk baits I’ve been using lately. Some in chartreuse shad, table rock shad(my version), and a new concoction I call gold shad. Just over 2 inches long and they sink pretty quickly. I’ll post a few videos trying to show you more details on the paint jobs. They’ll be sporting size 10 treble hooks and black stainless steel split rings.

Man I love square bill crank baits in the fall

Here’s a few balsa wood baits I’ve been experimenting with… I need to test them out soon. Got a square bill crank bait with a rattle, square bill jerk bait with a rattle, and a silent micro spook style walking bait.
