Right now we are caring for 20 neonatal kittens, in addition to all of the other kittens and cats already depending on us every single day. Some of these tiny babies were rescued after being washed into drainage ditches, flooded streets, and other dangerous areas during the recent rain storms — cold, soaked, frightened, and fighting to survive. 💔
Kitten season never truly slows down in Texas, and while we are beyond grateful to be able to help these fragile little lives, the supplies and medical care add up incredibly fast. We could not continue doing this without the kindness and support of our community.
At this time, we especially need:
• Soft baby blankets
• Clean towels
• Bleach
• Laundry sanitizer
• Paper towels
• World’s Best Kitty Litter (orange bag)
• Terramycin
• FortiFlora
• Miracle Ni***es & bottles
• 1 mL oral syringes
• New toys
• Playpens
Most needed items can be found on our Amazon and Chewy wish lists through our website at kittensrescuenw.org, or you can DM us for drop-off information. Cash donations toward medical care are also deeply appreciated, along with gift cards for supplies, groceries, laundry needs, or anything that helps keep the rescue going during these difficult economic times.
Every blanket, every bag of litter, every donation, every share, and every kind word truly helps more than you know. Thank you for continuing to stand beside us and helping us give these babies warmth, safety, medical care, and a chance at the lives they deserve. 💛

Today we are celebrating a very special milestone for someone who means so much to all of us at Kittens Rescue NW — our incredible Adoption Coordinator, Lidia Moreno, on her 5 year anniversary with us this month. 💛
(And yes… I was an idiot and originally posted the wrong date — her actual anniversary was 5/2 😅)
Lidia, there truly are not enough words to express how much we love and appreciate you and everything you have sacrificed over the years to help this rescue and the countless animals depending on us.
For five years, you have dedicated your heart, your time, your energy, your patience, and so much of yourself to helping homeless kittens and cats find loving families. Through the chaos, the emergencies, the heartbreak, the long days, the endless messages, adoption events, transports, late nights, and everything in between — you have always shown up with compassion, love, and unwavering dedication.
You have cried with us during the heartbreaking moments, celebrated the victories with us, and stood beside us through some of the hardest days rescue can bring. The sacrifices you have made behind the scenes — the time away from your own life, the emotional exhaustion, the endless work that so few people ever truly see — have helped save countless precious lives.
You and I driving 80 miles in an ice storm to rescue Tom Brady, and after him, the very poor lady with cancer who offered us her food money to help the kittens — those are just two of the many heart-wrenching things we have seen behind the scenes while trying to save some of our most vulnerable kitties. We will never forget your dedication.
So many families have found their perfect companions because of you. So many kittens and cats were given a chance because you cared enough to keep going, even when things were overwhelming. Your kindness, your loyalty, your huge heart, and your commitment to this rescue mean more to all of us than words could ever fully express.
Thank you for every sacrifice you’ve made, every extra hour you’ve given, every adopter you’ve helped, every kitten you’ve fought for, and every time you’ve stepped in when we needed you most.
We love you, we appreciate you more than you know, and we are beyond grateful to have you as part of our rescue family.
Happy 5 years, Lidia. Here’s to many more. 💕🐾

To everyone who has donated, shared our posts, fostered, adopted, volunteered, sent supplies, or supported us in any way — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💛
Right now we are overwhelmed with newborn kittens while also continuing to care for our teenagers, adult cats, seniors, and special-needs kitties already in rescue. Kitten season in Texas never truly stops, and every day brings more tiny lives needing help.
Please know that even when you do not hear back from us, your kindness, patience, and support mean more than words can express. We receive hundreds of calls, emails, texts, and messages every day while also providing bottle feeding, medications, transport, cleaning, feeding, vet care, and daily comfort to the animals depending on us.
We truly wish we could respond to everyone’s comments, questions, and messages, but the daily responsibilities of rescue simply do not allow enough time.
If you have ever considered adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating — now is the time. Every adoption opens space for another life to be saved, and every donation helps provide formula, food, litter, medical care, and emergency supplies for kittens who would otherwise have nowhere to go.
Without your support, many of these kittens simply would not survive. Please help us continue saying “yes” to the tiny lives that need us most. Donations and wish list items can be found on our website at KittenRescuenw.org . Thank you for helping us keep fighting for them every single day. 🐾

Right now, Kittens Rescue NW is caring for 16 newborn bottle babies—some just one day old—while also caring for all the other kittens and cats depending on us.
We Are Exhausted… But We Keep Going. 🐾
And the calls keep coming.
We are getting requests almost every hour—phone calls, texts, emails—
It’s kitten season, and while we wish we could help everyone, we simply can’t. Please know we are doing the very best we can.
These babies require feeding every few hours, day and night. There is no pause. It’s around-the-clock care, with 17–18 hour days, running on empty… while also continuing medical care and daily needs for all the other kitties in our care, along with every new newborn that comes in.
We are tired.
We are stretched thin.
But we’re still here—for them.
We just need support to keep going.
Donations go directly to the kittens—formula, medical care, food, litter, and critical supplies.
Gift cards help more than you know right now:
• PetSmart
• H-E-B
• Gas cards
• Starbucks ☺️

Every bit of support helps us continue saving these tiny, vulnerable lives.
If you can’t donate, please share—it truly helps.
Thank you for standing with Kittens Rescue NW. 💛🐾

We are currently bottle feeding 16 newborn kittens 🍼🐾
As much as it breaks our hearts to say this… we are completely at capacity and unable to take in any more newborns at this time.
This is just the beginning of kitten season — even though here in Texas, it’s year-round .
These tiny lives require around-the-clock care, and right now every available supply, and moment is going into keeping these babies alive.
If you’ve found kittens, please:
• Check carefully for mom — she is their best chance
• Keep them warm and safe
• Reach out to local rescues or low-cost clinics for guidance
If you’re able to help us :
💕 Donations for supplies are desperately needed
💕 Committed fosters (especially for bottle babies) are lifesaving

We hate ever having to turn away… and we are doing everything we can with what we have. Thank you for understanding and for caring about these little lives. 💔🐾
