This song has been on repeat the last few days so I made some art to go with it. I love the way music inspires different colors and textures in my work, this one may need a permanent spot in my house.

Some may call you rebellious, some may call you crazy.. but never allow the opinions of others to dictate how far you go. Don’t let their fear of the unknown keep you from swimming in the deep things of God. It’s ok if they don’t understand your calling, or why you make the sacrifices you do.. it’s not for them to do. But God may use your wildfire to send sparks flying and you’ll watch them catch fire too!! 🔥🔥🔥 what they once mocked may be the very thing that sets them free. Keep running your race, keep seeking HIS face with all the hunger and fervor you have, and don’t slow down or apologize for it. This wild that He’s put inside of you isn’t destructive, it may cause discomfort in others, but it’s a burn only controlled by Abba, and it will accomplish all He has purposed it to..every time you lay down your dreams for His, and surrender more of yourself, you’re fueling that fire. This is what living sacrifice looks like. Stay Wild.❤️

I can't seem to get away from this topic of worship, so here I go again. Reading today in Luke 10:38-42 we see Mary and Martha, they invite Jesus to come over and while Martha is busy preparing a meal and serving, Mary is sitting at Jesus' feet. Like most people would, martha gets upset that she's doing all the work and even asked Jesus if he saw this, in hopes that he would tell Mary to help her. But Jesus response to her was revealing her heart..she was distracted and anxious about doing all the things so that Jesus would be welcomed in her home, and although he was in her house, she wasnt in His presence. Have you ever physically been in the presence of someone but they feel a million miles away? This is what Jesus is showing her..I'm here with you..dont worry about all the things that "need to be done" thats a distraction."Come and BE WITH ME!"
This is a reminder and a gut punch that we can be "doing things for God" and yet be far from Him. If your ministry becomes a distraction from spending time with God, step away and refocus on what truly matters! Because its not the works that bring you closer to Him, or make you worthy of His attention or love..He wants relationship..when we turn our eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, the things of earth grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace🎼
