🌽The South Hayward Market is BACK! 🎉 Join us for our Summer Kickoff Market on Thursday, June 26th. 📍 680 W. Tennyson Rd., Hayward

Last year, our four pilot markets brought nearly 5,000 visitors and distributed hundreds of pounds of free produce to the community. This summer, we’re trying something new: I’ve partnered with Eden Youth () to host smaller, more frequent markets so there’s even more to do in South Hayward while the weather is nice!

This year's market will run on the following dates:
June 26 | July 10 & 24 | Aug 14 & 26 | Sept 11 & 25 | Oct 9

The original South Hayward Market was organized by Feed Hayward and funded by the Hayward People’s Budget — made possible through ’s campaign to put public funds directly in the hands of the people.

Follow and and for updates!

Happy New Year Hayward! 🎉 I'm proud to share my second annual council update with all of you. I put together this update for folks that are curious about some of the projects I've been working on, the kind of work that happens on Council, and how Hayward operates as a city.

It's hard to squeeze a year's worth of action into one post, so it runs a little long - but I hope you enjoy reading it! https://syrop.substack.com/p/georges-2nd-annual-council-update

Happy New Year Hayward! 🎉

Last month I hosted an in-person, town hall to share updates on what I've been up to since I was elected. Thank you to everyone who attended! I've published my update here in writing for everyone that wasn't able to attend: https://syrop.substack.com/p/georges-1st-annual-council-update

It's a little long, but I want you to know I've been hard at work! As always, thank you for the opportunity to serve!
