WHAT A FEW DAYS IT’S BEEN. IT’S BEEN A JOY SEEING ALL THE POSTS. LAST BUT NOT LEAST A WORD FROM COACH VENTRESCA. Thank you to my wife and boys for their patience during a very challenging season. Thank you for the coaches, my brothers, who continue to embrace challenging me and one another while we improve each year. Thank you Rob Roy for selflessly volunteering his services as our gameday trainer/medic. Thank you coach Boco for his tireless efforts in all areas of our program as youth director. Thank you to seniors Jack Staugaitis and Michael McCormick who despite tragically missing their senior season due to injury exemplified the culture of our young men by supporting their teammates all year. Thank you to Leslie Gonce for helping organize our parents along with Curt and Lori Keefer of the booster club. Most importantly thank you to our players for embracing the adversity surrounding them all season; from injuries to lack of facilities to grinding victories over the best teams in D2 back to back to back on your way to a championship. You’ve played brave and played proud all season and you’ve faced down your greatest competition, the one that holds the highest standards and the one you can’t run from…the man in the mirror.
