Chuck!

Chuck recently joined us from one of our rescue partners and has shown himself to be the life of the party. He is the guy who shows up with his own case of b**r, is funny, has a large group of admirers (both men and women) and you just find yourself liking him, as much as you may not want to.

Chuck is a 2-3 year old approx 30 lbs doodle mix who is just ready to go.
Car rides? Loves 'em!
Other dogs? Loves em!
Kids? Loves em! (do you see a theme here)

He is playful and would love a family willing to include him in some adventures. He is good in a crate, appears to be housebroken (or mostly so, he may have some accidents getting used to a new routine and environment). Although Chuck was originally found as a stray he was clearly a loved pet at some point, and even knows to sit politely as soon as he thinks treats are a possibility.

Chuck is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is also heartworm tested negative and up to date on preventatives.

Interested in adopting Chuck? Please fill an application out at dogtownrescue.org
Please note: An approved application and appointment are required to meet any of our dogs.

🚗🐾 COME SEE US TODAY! 🐾🚗

We’ll be out at A&T Celebration of Cars TODAY from 9AM–1PM, and our pups are READY to party! 🎉 Come say hi, get some puppy kisses, and show them some love! ❤️

And don’t forget to stop by and see Yuzu! 💕 He’ll be selling raffle tickets for his special lottery pot, with proceeds helping with his cardiologist appointments. 🥹💗 Those appointments aren’t cheap, so every ticket helps us give this sweet boy the care he needs!

Come hang out with us this morning! We can’t wait to see you! 🐾🎉

Stop and see us on Sunday at A&T Celebration of Cars! It is great time to look at cars, eat some food, and meet some really cute adoptable dogs!

Chewy!

Meet Chewy! This adorable little 6 year old pomchi (pomeranian, long haired chihuahua) mix found himself in need of rescue when his owner had to leave their home quickly for safety reasons.
Of course we had to say yes, and have had zero regrets about the decision after meeting and spending a little time with him.

As you can imagine Chewy was initially a little scared having just lost his home, owner, 6 doggy siblings and the life he knew, but like most dogs he is resilient and making the most things. He would still LOVE to find a new family to spoil him soon.

Chewy is good with people and good with other dogs. He loves to talk/sing along with you and will let you know his opinions in the cutest way. He has had a lot of transitions and we expect he will have some more accidents until he gets fully settled, so his new family should be prepared to help him in this area.

Chewy is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is also heartworm tested negative and up to date on preventatives and wellness visits.

Interested in adopting Chewy? Please fill an application out at dogtownrescue.org

Bonnie!
Bonnie is an adorable and fun, friendly approx 3 year old pomeranian who is on the lookout for her forever family!

Given her non standard (but really cool looking) merle color and one one blue eye she may have been mixed with something like an aussie or sheltie somewhere in her ancestry, although she very much is the size and look of a standard pomeranian. Given that, she will need an adopter who understands the commitment of keeping her coat well groomed and mat free.

Bonnie recently joined us from one of our rescue partners and we have no idea why she was surrendered, but their loss can be your gain! She is super friendly and housebroken, although we would expect any dog may have some accidents as they get used to a new environment and routine. Bonnie is also crate trained.

She has been great with all the other dogs she has met while in our care, and also loves to make new human friends and even seems to be happy to meet kids in passing.

Bonnie is up to date on vet care, including vaccinations and spay. She will be microchipped and has tested heartworm negative. She is also up to date on preventatives.

📋 Interested in adopting Bonnie? Apply at: www.dogtownrescue.org. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

⚠️ Please note: An approved application and appointment are required to meet any of our dogs.

🎃👜 Halloween Designer Purse Bingo 2026 IS ONLY 1 MONTH AWAY! 👜🎃

👻 Have YOU gotten your tickets yet?! 👻

This isn’t just Bingo… it’s Bingo for the dogs! 🐶❤️

Our Halloween Designer Purse Bingo is one of Dog Town Rescue’s biggest fundraisers of the year, and every ticket helps us say YES when a dog needs medical care.

Routine wellness visits, vaccines, spay/neuters, microchips and sick visits are all part of rescue life, but it’s the unexpected and complex medical cases that can really add up.

And just this past week, we welcomed TWO new fosters from PSPCA who need some extra TLC. 💔🐾

🩺 Yuzu is just 4 MONTHS OLD and has a Grade 4 heart murmur. He needs to see a specialist so we can figure out the best next steps for his care.

🐶 Cordelia is 6 years old and appears to have spent far too long in a crate that was much too small for her. She came to us with poor skin & what could possibly burns, bad ears, weak muscles and some weight to gain. She deserves to feel good, and we’re going to make sure she gets everything she needs. ❤️

But that care comes with some BIG vet bills.

🎟️ That’s where YOU come in!

Grab your tickets to Halloween Designer Purse Bingo, bring your friends, dress up, have some fun, win some amazing prizes AND know that your ticket is helping dogs like Yuzu and Cordelia get the care they need. 🎃👜🐾

Join us this Saturday, 9/19 at the Hatfield Aquatic Center for Dog-a-Poolooza! 🐶🌊

Your pup can enjoy swimming with other doggie friends with a portion of fees will be donated to Dog Town Rescue. Of course we will have a few adoptable dogs there too!

🚨 OH NO… WE’RE RUNNING LOW! 🚨

Our pups are experts at making messes, which means we go through A LOT of laundry detergent & bleach! 🐶🧺😂

Laundry may not be the most glamorous part of rescue, but clean pups, blankets, and kennels are pretty important! ❤️

We need:
🧴 Liquid Laundry Detergent — any brand
🧴 Bleach — any brand
🚫 Please no pods or powders
