Cavalier: A broken sword glides between the digits of a riding relic, a knight battling an obsolescence inspired by the rumble of gunpowder, failing with great passion.

This deck is an exploration of my own discomfort with fatalism. The binding feeling of being out of control, no choice as to whether you're on the train or the tracks.

Each card has been hand illustrated, scanned,
and placed in a box designed to invoke the feeling of imprisonment. Crossbones sit in the
open, as only the dead are allowed to be free from fate's grasp.

Designed before and delayed due to the pandemic, it sits as a time capsule of my
feelings on this subject. It has waited for a better time in the world to release but it
seems the more it has been stalled the more relevant it becomes."
