Our First Annual Meeting is about to begin!

This week, CB&LF is attending the Keystone Conference UCC Annual Meeting at Millersville University in Pennsylvania.

This year’s theme, “Joy at the Table Together,” reminds us of the importance of gathering, worshiping, and building community together.

Patrick and Jill will also be facilitating the workshop:
“Shifting from ‘Museum Stewardship’ to ‘Missional Asset Management.’”

Congregations often treat their buildings as static monuments to the past rather than dynamic tools for the future. This workshop explores the psychological and spiritual shift required to leverage church property for mission, ministry, and community impact.

We’re looking forward to meaningful conversations, collaboration, and learning alongside church leaders across the conference.

The Keystone Conference Annual Meeting starts tomorrow! 

From June 5 to 7, the Revs. Liddy Barlow and Cean James will join the Rev. Dr. Paul Ramsey, Director of Church Relations and Philanthropy at the Pension Boards - UCC, for Joy at the Table Together, the Keystone Conference Annual Meeting in Millersville, Pennsylvania.

The Pension Boards will host a workshop titled Because of Ministry—Whole-Life Stewardship is Finding Joy and Balance in Ministry, which invites ministry professionals and lay workers to re-imagine wellbeing as a sacred practice. This uplifting workshop will explore simple, sustainable, and practical ways for living with balance, managing financial confidence, and embracing stewardship of the whole self to find renewed strength.

The Philadelphia Association met on Sunday at The House of Faith Baptist Church-UCC of Phila., led by Pastor William Scott III. A warm congregation greeted the rest of the association and provided some delicious food after the meeting. Rev. Cean James of Salt & Light brought the gathering information about how to become an "invitational" church. TRCM Kevin McLemore brought news from the Conference. It was a good day and a good meeting!

As our new conference comes together, we take a moment each week to pray for 10 of our churches. We lift up the work they do in their communities, and we rejoice in our connection with each other.

The good folks of St. John's UCC in Lansdale concluded their 150th anniversary celebration during a joyous service.
TRCM Kevin McLemore brought greetings from the conference to Pastor Linda Noonan and the church. The service was full of music (some original) and local officials bringing greetings. A wonderful day to remember God's faithfulness in the past and in the future! Happy Anniversary, St. John's!

Greetings Keystone Conference from all God's people at First Congregational in Harford where TRCM Nora brought greetings and kicked off their "Church Life" series. Nora also met with the new member class and explored the nascent jungle being constructed for VBS.
