CDSD NutriPacks Program

Last Friday, we received our first food order of the school year from the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. Our volunteers worked hard stocking shelves and getting things ready to pack hundreds of bags this week!

Special thanks to Delta Dental Insurance Company for their donation of 700 dental packs!! 💚 CDSD NutriPacks Program will include these with one of our packs in October, for our students to have healthy teeth and happy smiles!

Our volunteers are all smiles as they help unload and organize our first food delivery of the school year from Midwest Food Bank Pennsylvania 🙌 🙂 We can't do what we do without the help and hard work of all our volunteers!

Yesterday, CDSD NutriPacks Program was appreciative for the opportunity to attend the Dauphin County Board of Commissioners meeting for their recognition of Hunger Action Month. Katie Kerr and Skyler Carpenter-Tobin from the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank work very hard to advocate for and support the programs, such as NutriPacks, who are fighting hunger in our communities!

September is Hunger Action Month!

Today, we welcomed Katie Kerr and Skyler Carpenter-Tobin from the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank to recognize Hunger Action Month and highlight the work being done to fight hunger in our community.

The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank works with nearly 1,100 local agencies and programs across 27 counties, helping provide nutritious food to more than 278,000 people each month.

Dauphin County is proud to recognize September as Hunger Action Month and support efforts to help end hunger across our community.
