As much as I love custom painting for a living, I love saving OEM paint just as much. This tank was in ROUGH shape. Remnants of old pin striping, touch ups, and 35+ years of road grime.
She's got a few deep gouges, dings. However I'd like to think it is very presentable now.

Wanted to make this lid look like it was handed to you by an old head who owned it for 30+ years. Adding some dirt and grime into some fresh paint, traditional hot rod colors.

Back in August it was time to paint ‘s bike. It started off as a normal day. Everything primered, base coated, etc. Nathaniel wanted his hand in the process, seeing what went into every step. Which is very appreciated, as most will never see how much work goes into paint.
Everything was going smooth so we just kept on working. And kept on working. Energy drinks and stories kept flowing. So we stayed up for 26+ hours straight (tweaker s**t but we are both 7+ years sober)
and finished the entire paintjob. These are some clips he put together with his VHS camera from that night.

Brand new Wassel style tank with ribbed fender. Aged black paint/ Air brushed from reaper/ Diamond plate and flames. What more could you want? Not liable for this paint job getting you into fights at the bar.

Brand new fresco sportster tank with matching fender. Silver metallic base/ Dodge Viper metallic blue flames/ with peacock blue/Raspberry Mousse fades throughout. This set will make you look fast sitting still.

2 I just finished up.
Pebble base candy green flames,
Other set is candy apple red with fades inside the flame pockets.
