Hanover Community Church

Join the Mercy Team on Wednesday, October 7th at 2:00 PM as we minister to our friends at You First Personal Care Home! We provide activities for the residents and build relationships seeking opportunities to share the love of Christ. For more information see Alexis Gearhart, or contact the church office to be put in touch!

"Blessed is the one who finds wisdom,
and the one who gets understanding,
for the gain from her is better than gain from silver
and her profit better than gold.
She is more precious than jewels,
and nothing you desire can compare with her.
Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.
Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
and all her paths are peace.
She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her;
those who hold her fast are called blessed." -Proverbs 3:13-18

Worship with us! Sundays at 8:30 AM & 10:30 AM

Join us on Sunday, October 4th at 9:45 AM & 11:45 AM for a Welcome Mixer after the worship services. This is a great way to catch up with old friends and meet new people!

If you would love a wonderful blessing, you are invited to attend the pastor's book set on Saturday, November 7th at 6:00 at Hanover First Church of God.

This annual event is in support of our missionaries to Angola and Namibia, Calvin and Shelley Brain. Learn about the great work they are doing in that part of the world, and how you can be part of it through prayer, encouragement, and even financially. There is no cost for this event.

📸 🧀 Say Cheese! It's time to take your Family Tree Photo! Pete Long will be taking photos after both services on October 11th, so dress up, and give your best smile! 😀 Plan on staying after on Sunday, October 11th!

Does anyone recognize this picture? It was in a book that was donated to the church library. We would like to get it back to its owner!

On Saturday, October 10th Hands of Hope Crafters will be meeting! Hands of Hope is a community of crafters (crocheters, knitters, sewers, scrapbookers) of any skill level who wish to serve the Kingdom by creating intentional items to support the Operation Christmas Child ministry.

Each month there will be a selected project for each group along with supplies and instructions.

Tomorrow's Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study is canceled tomorrow, September 29th. See you next Tuesday, 10/6.

Do you want to know where volunteers have the *most fun* at HCC and enjoy *great reward* for their service? It's KIDS MINISTRY!

If you have thought about volunteering but aren't sure what it's all about, or what area you would like to serve- why not VISIT US on a Sunday morning? You can see all the fun we have first hand worshipping with the kids, praying with them, teaching them, and LOVING them. (The social media staff member wants you to know she served this past Sunday and it was a ball! Our kids are a hoot.)

WE NEED YOU! Reach out to Lisa Kindervater our Kids Min director or the church office to be put in touch and find out more about Kids Ministry volunteering!
