A couple weeks ago we ran into an issue that is 100% unbelievable unless it was filmed, the GTO in this video has a holley sniper system on it and when it was cold it would run perfectly but after 20 minutes of driving it would shut off and cause all sorts of problems like kicking us out of sync with the holley making it impossible to get a datalog, BUT it only did it with the hood closed. Had absolutely zero problems as long as the hood was open, we checked for pinched wires, shorting wires, everything under the sun, also when you would push the brake pedal or clutch pedal it would kill the gauges, radio and everything else besides the sniper, we found ZERO wiring issues with this car!!! after a lot of digging, isolating circuits, etc etc, we accidentally touched a circuit breaker that was tucked out of the way and painted black on the backside of the driver inner fender, to our surprise it shorted when we would barely touch it. So we deleted it out and retested and the inside of the car stopped shutting off but the car still died when shutting the hood, fixing the circuit breaker did however let us get a datalog of the issue finally and were able to see the TPS going past 100%, going into the negatives, just doing everything but what it was supposed to do. We replaced the TPS and solved the problem!!! The only conclusion we could come up with is that the flexing of the firewall when the pedals were pushed and the flex of the car while driving was causing the circuit breaker to short out and in turn back feed the TPS which damaged it and when the hood would get close enough to it we believe it was acting as an antenna for what little rfi the ignition system was putting out and going into the compromised TPS causing the TPS to go all over the place.
This was one of those once in a lifetime issues that was a pain to track down and fix and we hope to never have another issue like it! But here at O.S. Performance we don't give up on tough problems! We solve them!! Sorry for the long read but we just had to share this experience with everyone!

Our favorite Camaro came back to swap from a th400 to a Tremec TKX. This iconic hotrod powered by an O.S. Performance built 388 stroker and the Tremec 5 speed makes it such an incredible car to drive. Nothing beats the feeling of shifting gears in a car that will blister the tires whenever you want!

Additionally, we have the TCI th400 that came out of it for sale, comes with a 3200 stall converter, gated stock shifter/cable, Dakota digital gear indicator and stock crossmember. Has less than 800 miles on it. Hit us up if your interested!

This Bronco came in for a whole laundry list of issues, wiring issues, transmission problems, running problems, fuel delivery issues, everything imaginable, after some time we got all the gremlins worked out and got this hot little 302 on a Holley Terminator absolutely screaming! We were extremely excited to get this back to the customer so they can enjoy this badass Bronco!

This awesome GTO came in to get this Holley Sniper system right, we installed a Holley dual sync distributor to get full timing control and replaced the stock tank and frame mounted pump with a new Holley in tank pump and fuel tank. After Rob worked his magic on the laptop we got this thing running like the hot rod it is
