Any Detroit local bands in the Subvert.fm alpha? We finally got the go to create our artist page and upload the Ostara EP (with a Subvert-exclusive demo of Oceans in the Dark)!

For the unfamiliar— Subvert is essentially an artist-driven, collectively owned alternative to Bandcamp. Subvert does not take any cut of purchases and 100% of sales go to the artist (every day is Bandcamp Friday!).

As the world continues to find new and innovative ways to grind musicians and artists to bone dust for maximum profit, options like Subvert help bring back some feeling of early internet optimism in me. I'll throw a link for Subvert members in the bio in a bit. Check it out! -Adam

Happy new years y'all! In 2025, we gained a shiny and wonderful keyboardist, released the Ostara EP, played Kalamashoegazer 16, and met a thousand cool bands and peeps.
