Shoutout to Firefighter Cameron Meseroll as he graduated today from the Ohio Fire Academy in Columbus, OH. This is an extensive 10 week program and has obtained his FF2 certification. He will start next week at his new assignment at Station 25. Welcome back and congratulations!!

This afternoon, several Hamilton Fire/IAFF Local 20 members have successfully completed the year-long paramedic program.

This course demands dedication to complete both classroom and clinical requirements needed to graduate.

We are proud of their commitment on this well earned achievement!

Live music starts at 6:30pm highlighting The Area Rock Show at Marcum Park. Great view of the fireworks from there.

Today we had the opportunity to welcome a new member to the Hamilton Fire Department as well as recognize several current members for exceptional service to the community and department.

We would like to welcome William Black who was sworn in as the newest member of The Hamilton Fire Department. Congratulation FF Black, we wish you a long and safe career!

Several members were recognized for swift actions taken at recent emergency scenes. Their rapid response and actions helped provide lifesaving actions to those in need.

We were also able to recognize three members for going above and beyond for the betterment of the department and city.

We got to spend the week partnering with Monroe and Middletown Fire Departments, and certified several members as Water Rescue Technicians.

Having the opportunity to collaborate and share ideas and techniques is what allows us all to get better at what we do…and meet new people along the way.
