Saturday was a wonderful evening at the Ross Local School District Hall of Fame Awards, celebrating the people who have helped shape and strengthen the Ross community. It was particularly special to honor our founders, Dana and Martha Mehl, alongside so many other deserving award recipients whose contributions have made a lasting impact.
Thank you to Ross for continuing to believe in this community, support its future, and invest in making Ross an even better place for generations to come.

With the 2026 grant application officially closing yesterday, we’re taking a moment to look back at the impact from 2025 while our board begins the thoughtful work of reviewing this year’s requests.
We’re grateful to serve the Ross community, and this work would not be possible without the donors who continue to give back to the place they call home.

🌱 Grant Update: Growth in Action at Ross High School
Last week, we had the opportunity to visit Ross High School and see firsthand the progress inside the greenhouse supported by our recent grant! The new grow lights, irrigation, and supplies in the greenhouse are officially up and running! Students in the Ross-Butler Tech Agricultural Education Program and the FFA chapter shared updates on how the space is transforming!
This project is about more than plants. It’s about giving students real-world experience in greenhouse production, preparing for FFA competitions, and growing produce that supports programs right within their own school community.
We can’t wait to see the greenhouse filled with the colors of spring and summer, and to watch the continued growth of the students leading the way. 🌼🌿
