While the prices of new computers & laptops are fluctuating, the price of Solid-State Drives remain consistent (around $75). Attention those with MSI RTX 2080 Ti video cards;
After addressing an issue with 2 cards overheating I discovered an assembly, design or manufacturing defect.
During the assembly process, an LED (Light-emitting Diode) is broken. The broken plastic piece remains between the circuit board/GPU and the Heatsink & fans. This piece makes it IMPOSSIBLE for the card to seat correctly to the GPU.
Over time the GPU will begin to overheat & the fan will begin to run excessively. These are expensive video cards so DON'T LET THEM OVERHEAT!
