When parents are not married, paternity must be established before a father’s name can be put on a child’s birth certificate. This can be done by both parents signing a Paternity Affidavit or by requesting genetic testing at your local child support agency to establish paternity. This event is a fantastic opportunity to gather helpful resources, connect with other kinship families, and get the support you deserve.

This group is a safe space to connect with others, share your experiences, and get the support you deserve. Remember, I’m here for you, and the Butler County ESC is always ready to support your journey.

As your Kinship Navigator, I want to personally invite you to join a Kinship Support Group! It’s a great opportunity to connect with others who are walking a similar path. Thye meet every second Wednesday of the month at 1 PM at the Sonny Hill Jr. Community Center in Middletown.

Hosted by Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio and the Council on Aging, this group offers support, resources, and a safe space to share experiences. Remember, you’re not alone—I’m here as a resource, and the Butler County ESC is here to support you every step of the way.

The Butler County WIC farmers market is NEXT WEEK! So, how does it work?

Bring your WIC benefit card and Photo ID to the WIC table.
You will be given vouchers for eligible members of your family.
Give your vouchers to the farmers in exchange for fresh produce!

It's that easy! We can't wait to see you August 8th in Middletown, or, August 10th at the Butler County Fairgrounds.
