Some food p**n from the last fre weeks... Both were really good. Homemade Chicken and broccoli Alfredo and Pork Carnitas over Spanish rice. Yum!!

The hubs smoked a turkey breast. We made smashed taters, corn and gravy. Little onion, of course!!!! Dan-O's Butter Dust made those taters!!! And I sprinkle Dan-O's Premo on everything. π

Homemade Hamburger Helper-- My mom made this all the time and it was so good!! (Picture is not mine and recipe is tweaked to match Mommas.)
Ingredients
β’ 1/2 pound ground beef
β’ 1 medium onion, chopped
β’ 1 cup chopped celery
β’ 3/4 cup chopped green pepper
β’ 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
β’ 1 teaspoon salt, optional
β’ 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
β’ 1/4 teaspoon pepper
β’ 2 cups uncooked medium egg noodles
β’ 1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
β’ 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes
β’ 3/4 cup water
β’ 1 beef bouillon cube
Directions
1. In a large saucepan or skillet, cook the beef, onion, celery and green pepper over medium heat until the vegetables are crisp-tender and meat is no longer pink; drain. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt if desired, basil and pepper. Stir in the noodles, beans, tomatoes, water and bouillon.
2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasional.

Porkchops in Dan-O's Seasoning (The New Ranch Dip Seasoning) and broccoli steamed with brushed on truffle oil, Dan-O's Italiano and then sprinkled with Dan-O's Dusted Butter!!! It was a Dantastik Supper!! (AND YES, I always put mustard on my chops. π)

Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes for dinner!!
Walnut Creek meatloaf jar is the bomb. Got it up in Berlin, OH in Amish Country. I did swap out oats for Stove Top. That's my go to!

Looking for a tasty afternoon snack? Look no further! These are so good! I went with caramel because I wanted sweet. They also have sea salt, unsweetened and original flavors. These are so good!!!!

9 Easy Pickle Recipes π₯π₯
Dill Pickles
Ingredients
4β6 small cucumbers, cut into spears
1 cup water
1 cup white vinegar
3 garlic cloves, smashed
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp black peppercorns
Fresh dill sprigs
1 bay leaf (optional)
Directions
1. Bring water, vinegar, and salt to a simmer until dissolved.
2. Pack cucumbers, garlic, dill, and spices into a jar.
3. Pour hot brine over to fully cover.
4. Cool, seal, and refrigerate at least 24 hours (best after 3 days).
Spicy JalapeΓ±os
Ingredients
8β10 jalapeΓ±os, sliced
1 cup vinegar
1 cup water
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp red chili flakes
Directions
1. Heat vinegar, water, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
2. Pack jalapeΓ±os and garlic into a jar.
3. Pour hot liquid over peppers.
4. Cool and refrigerate 24 hours before serving.
Bread & Butter Pickles
Ingredients
4 cups cucumber slices
1 small onion, sliced
1 cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp celery seed
1 tsp salt
Directions
1. Heat vinegar, sugar, salt, and spices until sugar dissolves.
2. Pack cucumbers and onions into a jar.
3. Pour hot brine over to cover.
4. Refrigerate at least 24 hours.
Cauliflower Pickles
Ingredients
3 cups cauliflower florets
1 cup vinegar
1 cup water
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
Directions
1. Heat vinegar, water, and salt.
2. Place cauliflower and spices in jar.
3. Pour hot brine over.
4. Chill 1β2 days before eating.
Carrot Pickles
Ingredients
3 cups carrot sticks
1 cup vinegar
1 cup water
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp dill seeds
1 tsp peppercorns
1 tsp salt
Directions
1. Heat vinegar, water, and salt until dissolved.
2. Pack carrots and spices into jar.
3. Pour hot liquid over.
4. Refrigerate overnight.
Spicy Mango Pickle
Ingredients
2 cups ripe mango cubes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 tbsp mustard oil
1 tbsp minced garlic & ginger
Directions
1. Toss mango with salt and spices.
2. Heat oil until hot, cool slightly, then pour over mixture.
3. Mix well and store in a clean jar.
4. Refrigerate and use within 1β2 weeks.
Pickled Red Onions
Ingredients
2 red onions, thinly sliced
1 cup vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black peppercorns
Directions
1. Heat vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
2. Pack onions into jar.
3. Pour hot liquid over.
4. Ready in 1 hour (better overnight).
Mixed Veggie Pickles
Ingredients
3 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, beans, peppers)
1 cup vinegar
1 cup water
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pickling spices
Directions
1. Heat vinegar, water, and salt.
2. Pack vegetables and spices into jar.
3. Pour brine over.
4. Refrigerate 24β48 hours.
Lemon Pickle
Ingredients
4 lemons, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp fenugreek
2 tbsp oil
Directions
1. Mix lemon pieces with salt and spices.
2. Heat oil and pour over mixture.
3. Stir well and store in jar.
4. Refrigerate; flavor improves after several days.
Storage Information
Store all refrigerator pickles in airtight jars in the fridge for up to 2β4 weeks depending on ingredients. Always use clean utensils to keep them fresh.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes (+ chilling time)
Servings: About 4 jars

Onion Soup Mix Powder
Ingredients
β’ Onion powder β 3 tbsp
β’ Garlic powder β 1 tbsp
β’ Beef stock powder β 1 tbsp
β’ Parsley (dried) β 1 tsp
β’ Black pepper β Β½ tsp
β’ Paprika β Β½ tsp
β’ Salt β 1 tsp
Method
1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
2. Blend or whisk well for even mixing.
3. Store in an airtight jar.
Use for soups, dips, marinades.
Ranch Seasoning Powder
Ingredients
β’ Buttermilk powder β 3 tbsp
β’ Garlic powder β 1 tsp
β’ Onion powder β 1 tsp
β’ Dried dill β 1 tsp
β’ Dried parsley β 1 tsp
β’ Salt β 1 tsp
β’ Black pepper β Β½ tsp
Method
1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
2. Store in airtight container.
Use for ranch dressing, dips, popcorn seasoning.
Taco Seasoning Powder
Ingredients
β’ Chili powder β 2 tbsp
β’ Cumin powder β 1 tbsp
β’ Paprika β 1 tbsp
β’ Garlic powder β 1 tsp
β’ Onion powder β 1 tsp
β’ Oregano β Β½ tsp
β’ Salt β 1 tsp
β’ Black pepper β Β½ tsp
Method
1. Combine all spices in a bowl.
2. Mix well and store in a dry container.
Perfect for tacos, fajitas, burritos.
BBQ Seasoning Powder
Ingredients
β’ Brown sugar β 2 tbsp
β’ Paprika β 1 tbsp
β’ Garlic powder β 1 tsp
β’ Onion powder β 1 tsp
β’ Black pepper β 1 tsp
β’ Chili powder β 1 tsp
β’ Salt β 1 tsp
β’ Mustard powder β Β½ tsp
Method
1. Mix all ingredients evenly.
2. Store in airtight jar.
Great for BBQ chicken, ribs, grilled meat.
