RAM Oaks Plantation

Spring upgrades. Trying to leave it better than we found it.

It’s WAYY more fun when your kids do the killing. Lakynn knocked down a hammer.

He got all the smoke this morning. Making memories with family is what it’s all about! Ram Oaks produces again.

Pops dropped the hammer on one yesterday evening. The cold high pressure days have had them on their feet this week. The ruts just around the corner. No telling what might show up then.

Opening day has been good to us the last few years. Managed to make another memory. All the hard work and hot days are worth it on evenings like this.

Lakynn and Grandaddy pulled a double last weekend as we put a bow on the 23-24 deer season. It was by far our best season yet. We are looking forward to seeing what the future holds.

Game set match. The rut was good to us this year. We managed to kill what some would consider our top two hit listers. I am tagged out and dad is left with 1 tag left to fill. The rut is in full swing, so you never know what might come between now and the end of the year. Regardless, we are blessed with the success that we have had. Hunt safe and shoot straight!

It’s almost Christmas and we have managed to put a couple of bucks on the ground. The season is shaping up to be one of our best yet and rut has not even begun. Looking forward to seeing what the remainder of the 23-24 season has to bring.

The 2022-2023 season has come and gone. It was a good year and we are already looking forward to next year. Counting down the days until spring. Good luck to all and God bless!

12/23/22… 3 degrees with a wind chill of -17. Easily the coldest day to date that I can remember hunting in the state of Alabama.

The good Lord blessed us with a great memory this morning! Managed a double with Mark Herring. This place is special and we are all very thankful!

The stage is set, and the hay is in the barn. We are less than a week away from GO TIME on the 2022 deer season. It is shaping up to be our best season yet. Stay tuned to see how it all unfolds!
