TNS evaluated the Girls Nottingham vs Stienert today !
Nott 5-1 vs SHS 4-1

Well short & simple ! Nottingham could create zero opportunities or legit chances the entire game

SHS was well prepared & came out like a well oiled machine as Jen C in the back, Elle is midfield & Ava P uptop along with IRENE JACKMAN had one of her best overall games i’ve seen in 2 years . She let all the noise go away & just played instinctive soccer !!

After numerous shots at keeper by players , Ava P decided to take control of the offense ( which she is more than capable & needs to do more ) & create her own great goal & gorgeous assist to jackman who finished nicely & the entire first half was all
Irene
Ava
Ella
Jen C

yes the entire team played well but we focus on the best each game

# 10 for nott was the only threat today ! Nott goalie is good as well

See you all next game

which is partnering with a new publication called people’s papers & will have area soccer articles was out to see the Lawrence vs Steinert Girls game today as it was a huge “revenge “ match from last year as lawrence girls & boys teams both ousted SHS in the state tourney run !

Boys were at lawrence !

To be clear to the public …..TNS in an independent local Professional Soccer Training Facility which trains numerous high school college & pro players across the state & is giving back by honoring the top 22 kids in area every year !

We speak bold truth & strictly about the beautiful game of soccer & how it’s played & coached !

We use our past professionsl experiences as players & coaches as our model of how we critique things
Our committee has played with or against some of the top male & female players in the country & world in our days as players

The commmitte is based on 5 former ex college All americans & pro players all have exceptional knowledge of the game & we try & focus on the cream of the crop of soccer players that have a chance to play in college & be successful & honor them at end of year

STATS do not matter !! it’s what we feel n see the best 22 are that can play in college if they choose & be successful

We love all players who are playing & everyone player at some point has a great game & we will try to point that out & give recognition

So i hope we all understand it’s our way of saluting the best of the best

no politics
no coaches pet
no stats matter ( they do count though 😭) but it’s not a huge factor
no age or yr matter
just pure ( he or she is a player )

Lawrence is retooling as it showed very little offense or able to create any substantial threats , they still have a all TNS back though but especially when you have the backs SHS does it hard to create

I’ll tell you this Reily is a complete legit shut down defender ! She has the chance to make All american as a hs back by the time she graduates !

She has gotten better every year !
Abby
Sammi who filled in at times
didda
calle
chachia
Lilly who filled in at times

All did a great job which made All 1st team Top Notch Soccer player from last yr Keeper Mia have an easy day

( oh let me give credit to Mia from last game which i was chatting it up with some former players i saw at game & missed 3 quality saves she had in the last 10 minutes )

Overall Steinert played very well
i’m going to give props out today to also last yr first team All Top Notch Soccer player Ava P on an all around great performance as she was excellent today as well as forward Modina ! When these 2 figure each other out & play off each other. watch out !!

Jasmine at mid in the 3 games i saw this year is doing a fine job as well

Oh to the SHS boys team that has now lost 1-0 to Lawrence in 4 games IN A ROW !!! in the past calendar year

Coach T always does a quality joh getting his teams ready for the season & games & has a good grip on the game !!

BUUUUUTTTT !!!!!!!!

HMmm maybe it’s time the coach needs to mix it up & change tactics or formation against them

soccer is not checkers it’s a game of chess. things change rapidly & quickly !! find a way to exploit defenses

in my exp. it’s not the players when it happens 4 times in a row

just food for thought
sometimes we need to think outside the box ✝️🙏🏼⚽️☑️

Good luck as always to all

Jim KeeganTop Notch Soccer was out to watch Allentown vs Steinert Varsity Girls Soccer !!

in this highly defensive battle where offensive channces were very limited both ways

TNS saw #11 #13 #4 from Allentown who are legit & #19 is a fiesty nice player as Steinert had standout performances from Reily -jen callie - emily & the others as Ava knotted the only goal with a great effort

Both keepers were not tested
much !!

oh a must point out to Modina for shs upfront who did a excellent job of shielding off defenders when receiving balls & dishing off to teamates - playing with back to goal is key for her ⚽️☑️❤️

two quality teams who can score but need better final third decisions

✝️☑️⚽️🙏🏼
