New Mercy Community Church
"A Church for the Broken" To some, our vision may sound a bit negative or depressing at first. It’s found all throughout the Bible. This is why it is our vision.
But we see it as a truly hopeful message, and Jesus reveals why in Matthew 9. “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” The Bible reveals one irreducible fact: God is for broken people. Passage after passage reveals a God who embraces the broken-hearted, the marginalized, the oppressed, the sick and the sinners. We at New Merc

TURNING THE WORLD UPSIDE DOWN | BOOK STUDY ON ACTS
We are journeying through the book of Acts for our summer sermon series. Our hopes through this book study is that you would be encouraged and strengthened as we learn more in-depth about God’s kingdom together.
Because Acts is a long book, we can’t cover everything on Sundays. So we created a reading plan (4 chapters every week) to help you keep up with the story, have more contexts, and grow in our spiritual formation of reading God’s word together.
Every week, we (pastors) will send out weekly devotionals on IG and email based off of the week’s reading plan. It will give further insights, highlight key words, and provide details to help us better understand God’s word. Here is this week’s (Week of June 14 - Acts 1-4) devotional by Pastor Daniel
New series! Butterscotch teaches us that the Holy Spirit is the main character of the story in Acts and is still at work in our lives today. Check out the full message, “SPIRITUAL RENAISSANCE”, on our Youtube now. Link in bio and story.

NEW SERIES KICKING OFF TOMORROW
With this year’s theme based off of Acts 1:8, we will journey together through the book of Acts. For 8 weeks throughout the summer, we will learn more in-depth about God’s kingdom.
Because Acts is a long book, we obviously can’t cover everything on Sundays. So we created a reading plan (4 chapters every week) to help you keep up with the story, have more context on Sundays, and grow in our spiritual formation through reading God’s Word this summer. We would love every member of our church to join us in our reading plan.
In addition, we also have study booklets (just on Acts) so you can read, bring to church on Sundays, and takes notes during the sermon or throughout the week in your personal readings.
We highly encourage you to purchase one ($5 at church) and bring it with you every Sunday to take notes and follow along in the upcoming sermon series.
Words matter. Cathy Jang teaches us that Jesus’ words carry the same authority that spoke the universe into existence - and words do too. Check out the full message on our Youtube now. Link in bio and story.

This is also a potluck event! Please head to our website to sign up on for potluck.
Are you running to God or running away from Him? reminds us the question isn’t whether you’ll leave a legacy, but what kind of legacy you’ll leave. Check out the full message, “RUNNING FROM GOD”, on our Youtube now. Link in bio and story.
