The LCCAC Friends Committee works to raise funds for all the children in Lake County who have been physically and /or sexually abused.
The Lake County Children's Advocacy Center works in conjunction with the Lake County State's Attorney's Office and local Lake County Police Departments to investigate ALL Lake County children who have suffered physical and/or sexual abuse. The LCCAC provides a safe, friendly, less invasive environment to children when being interviewed and is focused on creating less trauma for the child victim. I

Special Announcement! On August 2nd, the Lake County Children's Advocacy Center's 30th Birthday, we are hosting the grand opening of our brand new Healing Garden--our donor-sponsored outdoor garden built especially for child victims and their families as a healing space during their time at the LCCAC.
This event is FREE to attend, and we would love to see you there to celebrate 30 years of advocacy to child victims of Lake County as well as many more years of healing for the future!

Summer is here and the before and after shots of our Healing Garden are proof that things are changing for the better! Donations are not just used for items, but also to assist in positively shifting the environment for our victims we work with every day.
