We are just 2 weeks away from the 11/7/2023 General Election, please remember to cast an absentee ballot if you will be unable to go to the polls on Election Day!

In order to vote absentee, you must select a reason on the application that best fits your circumstance. The most commonly used are:

Will be outside the county on Election Day;
Over 65 years of age;
Have a temporary or permanent physical disability;
Student away at school
Military;
Required to be at work on Election Day during the times the polls are open.

Please review the entire list on the county website at harrisoncountyms.gov

They are open Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm and will offer extended hours on Saturday, 10/28 and 11/4 from 8am to Noon. Saturday, 11/4 at Noon is the deadline to vote absentee in person.

All mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by 11/7 and those received up to 5 days after the election will be valid.

1. Today is the Deadline to register to vote in the Circuit Clerk’s Office. Office is open now until 5:00 pm.

2. Tuesday, 10/10…All mailed voter registration applications must be postmarked by this date.

3. If registering to vote by mail, please visit the county website at harrisoncountyms.gov, print a voter registration form, fill it out and mail it in. (P.O. Box 998 Gulfport 39502 or P.O. Box 235 Biloxi 39533).
