Rain or shine, they show up assisting residents with a safe and efficient way to dispose household hazardous waste and eliminate restricted items from the landfills. Thank you to all who enables Harrison County’s campaign to promote safe recycling practices for a cleaner and greener environment! 

Harrison County Beautification Commission was honored to partner with The City of D’Iberville this past weekend celebrating “Earth Day” at their annual Household Waste Collection Day!  This annual event gives residents the opportunity to dispose of hazardous household items properly to minimize landfill waste and promote responsible management for our environment. Thank you, residents and all who played a part in making this day a huge success! 

Harrison County Beautification Commission was honored to partner with West Wortham elementary and middle school with creating a “Garden of Knowledge”! Creating green space can promote a welcoming environment for students and visitors alike. Flower gardens offer educational tools for students and provide hands-on learning opportunities, focusing on the benefits to the environment and ecosystem. “Teachers Planting For Our Future”
