🚨 URGENT: Minnie Needs a Home 🚨
A year ago, we took Minnie in after another Connecticut rescue planned to send her back South because she wasn’t adopted quickly and wasn’t comfortable around men. They knew sending her back meant a death sentence.
🗓️For the past year, Minnie has waited patiently while others found homes. Now, her situation is urgent. Her foster home’s circumstances have changed, and Minnie desperately needs a place of her own. She thrives as the center of someone’s world and would do best as an only pet where she doesn’t have to compete for attention.
⌛️Minnie has waited long enough. Please help us find the one person willing to give this sweet girl the chance she deserves. While her ideal home may come with a list of demands, we just know that her person is out there waiting to see this post and connect with her. She is worth it!

Jack is such a sweetie!

His owner died in the van they were living in; they were inseparable. Jack grieved the loss and appears to be on the other side.ACO writes"Jack is wonderful, he goes for walks everyday, and his favorite activity is "rolling on his back." "😆

Jack is fully vaccinated and neutered and ready to go. He would love to be the center of your attention, so even though he's perfectly fine seeing dogs in the community, he is crabby with dogs at the shelter.

Jack is struggling with spending most of his time in a kennel.

🧁Kito is a sweet 5-month-old male Lab mix searching for a loving family to call his own. He’s currently being fostered in Lisbon and has been doing great in foster care with the other doggos, kids and even cats!

🙏Unfortunately, his current foster will soon be having surgery and won’t be able to continue fostering, so Kito is hoping to find either an adopter or a new foster as soon as possible.

🌙Meet LUNA — a 7 year old spayed English Bulldog who is full of personality, love, and goofy charm. She is very good with kids and dogs, loves to play, and is truly a happy gal despite everything happening around her.

🏡Since Luna’s reasoning for needing a new home ASAP may leave room for speculation, it does not make her in need of an immediate foster or adoptive home any less urgent. We are focusing on just that by avoiding the “but what if’s”, “how come’s” and “but have they’s”.

⏳Time is of the essence. Luna is currently with the owner’s family member where they are not allowed dogs.
