Our former Pastor and wife, Paul and Carolyn Johnson, have both been placed on hospice care. Pastor Johnson has stage 4 bladder cancer and Sister Johnson has declined markedly from Alzheimer’s. Our church is promoting a special love offering to assist the Johnson family during this difficult time. Our Finance Committee has already designated some starter funds from our Benevolence Fund, but we want each one of our church family to have the opportunity to ask the Lord what He will have you to give toward their need. We are placing this posting on our FaceBook page to generate awareness of this need and to also give opportunity to those who attended the Greer church when the Johnsons were the pastor here. If you would like to participate in giving to this need you may do so by going online at https://www.thebridgeatgreer.com/give or by mailing to The Bridge PO Box 235 Greer, SC 29652. Please designate your offering to be given to the Johnson Family. We have set Sunday October 11th as the last day to give toward this offering.
