Congratulations to SCbio member company Zylo Therapeutics for their double-win at the C&T Alle Awards for cutting-edge advancements in cosmetic science! They received awards in two different categories for their groundbreaking innovations, including:
✨Ingredient Blend Award recipient in the anti-aging category with their Y100-loaded Z-pods, a new-age retinol product that performs better than retinol but without irritation and photo-sensitivity.
✨Ingredient Blend Award recipient in the sun protection category with their CBD-loaded Z-pods. This product was shown to reduce epidermal thickening and skin-DNA damage from the sun's UV rays, according to the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Join the 2025 SCbio Annual Conference with SHL Medical! Colleges and universities across South Carolina are working on life-saving innovations such as cancer vaccines and new ways to treat neurodegenerative diseases.⚕👏
To support these groundbreaking student-led efforts, SCbio Mission Partner SCRA: South Carolina Research Authority is awarding the academic institutions with nearly $4 million in funding. This three-year grant program will benefit several SCbio member companies, including Clemson University, College of Charleston, Medical University of South Carolina, and the University of South Carolina, helping to accelerate their innovative research.
