Our students put their culinary skills to the test yesterday. They were assigned the task to make a perfect, fully loaded omelette breakfast. They excelled at this task and really got into the "Art" of cooking. They were very detail oriented through the whole process of the cook and delivered BEAUTIFUL omelettes, they also demonstrated great presentations of plating skills.

Yesterday our students performed the Art of Gifting. We brainstormed as a group on different ways we can provide a gift of kindness to others for FREE! We decided to go to our local Bi-Mart and assist customers to their cars and help return their carts once they were done shopping. Spreading kindness to others and paying it forward. It was nice to see the smiles we put on people’s faces for just wanting to lend a hand. Kindness matters and we are always looking to spread it in anyway we possibly can!

We invited our friends from NVHS to join us for “a day in the life at JPTC”. The students from NV that joined us are potential candidates to join our program in the next year or two. We gave the students a tour of the facility and they were able to join us in a ‘Home Cooking w/ Jeannie’ seminar on making homemade pizzas with a side salad. Needless to say everyone was happy with their final product! It was a great day at JPTC!

Deb led a wonderful and creative lesson teaching our students the art of innovation...
In under 30 minutes she made a breakfast, lunch, and dinner plate with all the major food groups by turning leftovers into cleaver meals.
She only got 1 picture before her family ate most of them but here it is. LOL! 🤣
