TFO Rods - Temple Fork Outfitters

Ambassador Spotlight: Alyssa Adcock

Alyssa joined the TFO family in 2024. Before we met her, we kept hearing the same name from folks around East Tennessee: a young guide working hard to make her mark in a competitive guiding scene and spending her days off building drift boats. It didn’t take long after meeting her to see what everyone was talking about.

She doesn’t stay in one place for long. One month she’s rafting the Grand Canyon, the next she’s working a fly shop in Montana or chasing redfish in the marsh.

Wherever she lands, she brings the same grit and passion. Carving out a career in a guiding world that’s still mostly men isn’t easy, and Alyssa has done it while making room for more women in fly fishing and the outdoors along the way.

We’re proud to have her on the team. Watch her put the Solution to work in the video below.

What are you waiting on? Get out and enjoy fall fishing. 🍂

Built to cover water all day, the TFO Solution's forgiving moderate fast action, light high modulus blank, and premium components make it a Go-To for fall streamer season.

Quick reminder: browns are spawning right now, so keep an eye out for redds, the clean, light colored patches of gravel in shallow water. Give them space, don't wade through them, and leave fish on the beds alone. Fish the deeper runs and pockets above and below instead, and keep your fish wet and handled gently.

Huge congrats to TFO Ambassador Nick LeBrun Bass Fishing on his win at The Ultimate Angler Championship this past weekend in Scottsboro, Alabama! 🏆 Nick took home the first place trophy and $500,000, and his Taction Bass 7'6" Heavy paired with a frog was the ticket. Stay tuned for more on Nick's big win. Congrats, Nick!

Fall is prime time to hit the surf. Bait pods are moving, predators are following, and the action can turn on fast.

One of our pro staffers, Zain Khalid spent the season putting the Tidal Force to the test, landing everything from king mackerel to tarpon and sharks from the beach.

RISE: A Fly Fishing Festival returns to Asheville, NC for year two on Saturday, September 26th, 11 AM to 5 PM at Wrong Way River Lodge & Cabins

In the words of the organizers, RISE was born out of a desire to give back to a watershed that has given so much. It's a party with all your ragtag fishing buddies, down to the beers, BBQ, and tall tales. It's a back cast, bolstering the fly fishing community standing tall unified by the river.

Bluegrass music, raffles, and gear on site, all ages welcome. We're excited to see this festival grow and would love to see some familiar faces from the TFO community there. Tickets and full event details in the comments!
