Sorry for being a 2 days late! But here is your Mental Health Monday on Wednesday this week! Always appreciate the grace given within CR.

šŸ’šStrength Looks Different NowšŸ’š

Maybe strength used to mean pushing through.

Keeping everyone happy.
Handling everything yourself.
Hiding when you were overwhelmed.
Never letting anyone see you struggle.

Recovery can redefine strength.

Strength can look like asking for help.
Saying no without a long explanation.
Calling your Sponsor before things spiral.
Taking a break instead of pushing past your limit.
Admitting, ā€œI’m struggling today.ā€

Sometimes becoming stronger means letting go of what you once thought strength had to look like.

✨ Try this today:
Think about how your definition of strength has changed during recovery. Notice one healthy choice you make today that an earlier version of you may not have made.

šŸ’¬ Let’s Talk:
What does strength look like for you today that it didn’t before recovery?
