Ironclad Performance Wear
Unparalleled performance, fit and durability; proven in the field.
#IAMIRONCLAD Ironclad was born on the jobsite. In 1997, I was asked to help on a home-build.
There were plumbers, masonry workers, demo-guys, electricians and construction workers everywhere. I noticed that each person had very expensive task-specific tools that they needed in order to get the job done, but also realized that none of these people were wearing gloves. Being curious, I asked the guys around the jobsite why they weren’t wearing gloves and all of their answers were similar. “

Rock gardens aren't built by the ton. They're built one stone at a time until everything finally feels balanced. Every stone in this project was lifted, placed, and repositioned until it found its place. The finished result may look effortless, but every rock earned its spot.
That's where the General Utility™ (GUG) comes in. Built for the kind of work that demands both grit and precision, it combines a reinforced synthetic suede palm, low-profile knuckle protection, cut resistance and touchscreen compatibility to help tackle the job from the first stone to the last.
Because the best hardscaping doesn't look built it looks like it has always belonged there.

Cleanup day doesn’t end when the last weeds are pulled. For the volunteers, hauling away piles of brush and debris is often one of the toughest parts of the job.
Hidden thorns, splinters, sharp branches, and heavy loads can take a toll on unprotected hands. That's why Ironclad was proud to donate gloves that help volunteers maintain a secure grip, reduce fatigue, and stay protected from start to finish.
With durable protection and all-day comfort, Ironclad gloves help these dedicated volunteers focus on what matters most: preserving trail access, improving visitor safety, and protecting the natural beauty of our coastline.

Cleanup work like the La Jolla Coastal Walk Trail’s annual “Weed (Pulling) Party,” is part of a larger effort to beautify and rehabilitate the trail, which measures just over a half mile along the bluffs from Goldfish Point and Coast Boulevard east to Coast Walk. The seven tons pulled, added to efforts by professional crews, brings the three-weekend total to 16 tons of weeds pulled from the trail.
Reliable PPE gear makes demanding outdoor work safer and more manageable. Gloves provide an added layer of protection, helping crews work more comfortably and confidently while hauling debris and navigating rugged coastal terrain.

On , volunteers came together to help preserve one of La Jolla’s most treasured coastal spaces — the historic Coast Walk Trail.
The mission of the La Jolla Coastal Conservancy is to protect, maintain, and preserve the environmentally and historically significant La Jolla shoreline for generations to come. One of their ongoing projects focuses on the restoration, safety, and environmental preservation of the Coast Walk Trail, ensuring the community can continue to enjoy it now and into the future.
Ironclad was proud to support the effort by providing gloves to help keep volunteers protected during the demanding cleanup work. From thorny brush and broken branches to rocky, uneven terrain, maintaining these shared public spaces takes hard work — and many dedicated hands.

Wheel and tire duty is taxing on hands. Whether the hands of a weekend warrior doing a scheduled tire rotation or a seasoned race mechanic during a grueling race. No matter what, the work is unwieldy all the while demanding exactness each time. In this line of work, a gloved hand is advantaged with a secure grip and protection.
ㅤ
The Command™ Impact L1(IEX-HZIL1) has proven to be a favorite among tire crews, because its synthetic suede padded palm makes handling air tools and fasteners easy, while its impact resistant back of hand shields against massive and unwieldy wheels and tires. And touchscreen compatibility allows hands to move seamlessly between car and diagnostic devices, a convenience that safeguards hands where every second counts. Plus, the hi-viz colors help boost hand visibility for increased awareness to crew members and shop mates.

Whether you’re a professional technician or DIY enthusiast, protecting your hands should be part of the process, just like eye protection or hearing protection.

When you’re wrenching on cars, especially with power tools, grinders, ratchets, or even during extended hand-tool work, your hands absorb constant vibration and impact energy. Over time, that can lead to fatigue, numbness, tingling, and reduced grip strength. Gloves act as a buffer between your hands and that vibration, absorbing impact, improving grip, and reducing friction hotspots and the strain repetitive motion puts on your hands and wrists. The result is better control, less fatigue, and greater comfort during long projects.
The Vibration Impact (WWI2) features patented ContourGrip®, an energy-absorbing, non-compressible technology designed to reduce energy transfer from tools to your hands. By minimizing vibration and impact while wrenching on your vehicle, ContourGrip® helps reduce fatigue and may help mitigate injuries associated with repetitive impact and vibration exposure. Unlike traditional foam padding, ContourGrip® does not compress or degrade over time, so it maintains its effectiveness throughout the life of the glove.
Gloves aren’t just about protecting against grease and cuts; real protection goes deeper than that. Discover an innovative, purpose-built glove that works as hard as you do at ironclad.com.
