♻️ Kappa League Adopt-A-Street Takeaways ♻️
📅 Date: 1.10.16
👥 Attendees: 17 Kappa Leaguers
Very proud of our Kappa Leaguers today! Despite the cold 🥶, they showed up early and served the community with purpose and pride. Bravo! 🙌🏾👏🏾
Key Lessons Learned:
1️⃣ Trust, but verify.
Leadership means inspecting what we expect. We hold ourselves and each other accountable.
2️⃣ Do it right the first time.
Even in the cold, details matter. Missed trash meant going back and finishing the job the right way. No shortcuts. ♻️
3️⃣ Brotherhood matters.
We never leave a brother behind. We’re only as strong 💪🏾 as our weakest link. Group leaders (Juniors & Seniors) must lead by example and ensure everyone stays together.
Proud of the growth, effort, and lessons learned today. This is Kappa League in action! 🔥👏🏾

“We first met this young man when he walked into our Kappa League mentorship program as a 6th grader. Even then, we saw a spark in him. Over the years, we watched him show up, lean in, and take advantage of every opportunity to grow, learn, and excel.
That journey has reached a beautiful milestone. We are beyond proud to announce that he has successfully graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Agriculture Science.
Watching him grow from a middle schooler into a college graduate has been one of our greatest honors. He is the definition of what happens when preparation meets opportunity.
Congratulations to Raygan and his parents! You all have done an outstanding job! 🎓🧡”.

AGPGRF annual Turkey meal giveaways are community events and programs that provide free holiday meals to those in need, often organized along side with Sunset Baptist Church.
Preparing for the Thanksgiving holidays, The Arlington-Grand Prairie Kappa League was able to serve the community by working along side Sunset Baptist Church leadership.
Together they prepared boxes of full meals to donate to 50 families.
A very special THANK YOU to Kroger their donations and delivery of turkeys. We sincerely appreciate Sunset Baptist Church for providing the opportunities for our kappa leaguer to serve.
