Reminder, Music Families!

The Bloomfield Music Parents Association (MPA) will hold its final meeting of the school year tomorrow, June 9, at 7:00 PM in the BMS Choir Room.

We will also be holding Executive Board elections for the following positions:

🎵 President
🎵 Vice President
🎵 Treasurer
🎵 Secretary

Have you ever thought about getting more involved in supporting our amazing music students and programs? This is a great opportunity!

Nominations will be accepted from the floor, meaning you can nominate yourself or another eligible candidate during the meeting.

Not sure if a board position is right for you? Come anyway! We'd be happy to answer questions, explain the roles, and share what the commitment looks like. You may be surprised to learn that the MPA board requires only a handful of in-person meetings each year and offers a meaningful way to make a difference for our students.

The current board has worked hard to build a strong foundation with updated bylaws, improved procedures, growing membership, and successful fundraising efforts. We're excited about the future and hope you'll consider being part of it!

The Bloomfield Music Parents Association (MPA) currently has FOUR open Executive Board positions, and we are seeking parent volunteers to support our amazing music students and programs!

Open positions include:

• Secretary (2-year term)

Get • So proud of this BHS Jazz Band for the amazing performance they had tonight at the NJAEL Gala! They put together an hour’s worth of music in less than 3 rehearsals the last week and a half to honor our Superintendent’s Educational Leader of the Year Award. Congratulations!

Hi Parents! We’re still here, rain or shine! There’s one more hour left to drop off items, and after that we’ll need help packing the truck. If you’re able to spare some time from 3:00–4:00 to lend a hand, we’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much for your support!
