This Memorial Day, we honor those who gave everything. Join us at D1 Training for The Murph Challenge, the workout named after Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy, who made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan in 2005.
THE WORKOUT: 1 Mile Run | 100 Pull-Ups | 200 Push-Ups | 300 Squats | 1 Mile Run
Monday, May 26 | Registration & Warm-Up: 8:30 AM | Workout Starts: 9:00 AM
All fitness levels welcome. Scale it, partner up, or go full Rx’d with a 20lb vest. Just show up and earn it. Tag someone who’s doing this with you.
Overhead walking lunges.
One of the most underrated adult exercises in the gym.
- Builds unilateral leg strength (your left and right side separately)
- Forces shoulder stability and mobility
- Trains your core to stay locked in under load
- Improves balance and coordination (huge after 35)
Do 2-3 sets of 10 steps per leg. Start light. You'll feel this tomorrow.
