Over the years, I’ve worked with executive teams as they lead their organizations through change. Whether conducting culture assessments or working directly with teams, one challenge consistently surfaces: people don’t always understand where the organization is headed, why things are changing, or what those changes mean for them.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that clarity is essential during times of change.

Whether you’re leading an organization, a team, or building something of your own, clarity matters. We can’t assume people understand the vision simply because we’ve communicated it. People need to understand what’s changing, why it matters, and what it means for them.

When people have that clarity, uncertainty begins to decrease. Trust has room to grow. And it becomes easier to navigate the difficult moments that come with change.

Clarity doesn’t eliminate the challenges of change. It gives us something to move toward.

What began as a vision has grown through the people, partnerships, conversations, and moments that have shaped this journey along the way.
