Audi just built the most powerful car in their history and somehow made it look like this.
The new Nuvolari packs 987 horsepower from a twin turbo V8 that screams to 10,000 rpm, hits 62 mph in just 2.6 seconds, and tops out at more than 217 mph. It borrows its platform directly from the Lamborghini Temerario and somehow out powers it. Only 499 will ever be built, starting at $686,000.
The performance is absolutely undeniable. But Audi named this thing after a man who represented raw speed and mechanical beauty, and then delivered something that looks like it wants to pull up to a charging station.
