The #9 Flo Pro Plumbing & Drain IMCA Racing Sport Mod made the trip to Aztec Speedway this past weekend! As always, it was great to see friends and get a chance to run at this track. We came to the track with a new setup on Friday and to say that we struggled would be an understatement. We couldn't get the car to steer for the majority of the night without giving up all of our entry speed. Finished the night 7th.
After getting some help from Michael Phay, we made some major changes on the car and Erick Garcia let us take a few hot laps on the track after the races ended. We had a different car! Anthony Savaglio coined the phrase "Phay knows the way"
Night 2 went completely different. The car was back to where we needed it and was pretty good all night. We ended on a high note with a P2 finish. Ran right with the leader the whole feature, but didn't have anything for him in the end. Great job on the win, Waylon Hale! As always thank you to all of our supporters who help us to be able to get out and try to run up front

We would also like to recognize Nic Savaglio Jr. who is on a 2 year break from his duties as crew chief while he serves a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Kentucky Louisville mission.

We put the car on the track for a few test sessions last night after making quite a few changes in our time off. We are hoping those changes lead to some speed on the track tonight and tomorrow! Wish us luck!

Surprise... we are racing this weekend. Mike Phay (Phay Plumbing Services) called yesterday and asked me if I wanted to drive his Mod Lite this weekend. Never driven one before. Seeing as the Sport mod hasn't gotten put back together yet for the year, this will be a fun night. Our first race of 2024. Thanks for the opportunity
