The most simplified way to look at rep ranges. Of course, there are exceptions, but this is the general outline.

Summary:
1️⃣ Heavy weight? Less reps (1-6)
2️⃣ Medium weight? Regular reps (6-12)
3️⃣ Bodyweight or light weight? More reps (12+)

You can mix these rep ranges in during the same workout, don’t think you need to stay with one range.
