It was a productive week at the PGA Show. Made new contacts with potential resource providers on the show floor, participated in the Diversity Roundtable activities and ADAG session and had a presence at the African American Golf Expo. 2026 is off to a good start.

I had the pleasure of playing with two NGPDF members this weekend, Ashley Shaw and Malachi Hawkins. Ashley recently committed to UGA and Malachi representsour newest to the NGPDF family. I also had the opportunity to play with aspiring Sapphire Tour pro, Faith McKinney who played collegiate golf for my home town Chgo State University. They all represented well at The Legacy Golf Resort and were able to discuss their journeys from various perspectives Thank you to our host and NGPDF supporters, The Harris Family, Mann (print shirt) and Jeri Harris, for making this possible.

It’s great when I get a chance to meet an NGPDF player and parent. Tye and his dad Shon are in Phoenix playing in the Sugaro Junior. Tye has all the tools and we are happy to support his family’s efforts. Good luck today!
