Seventh Grade - When she’s not teaching ELA, Mrs. Gardner (and her students) are in the seventh grade Health and Diseases elective. Recently, our students were using paper phones to demonstrate how neurons talk to each other. An AWESOME lab!!

Eighth Grade - One of the coolest labs our eighth grade scientists get to participate in every year is frog dissection. Our students get to view the external and internal systems up close, and compare those to various human body systems. Our scientists are learning science by doing science. Health and Disease 7 - Check out Mrs. Gardner's scientists creating working models of the lungs and the respiratory system using common household items. The students were given no directions to follow, and Chromebooks were not allowed to be utilized. Their job, create working models with the supplies provided and their imagination.

STEM Enrichment 6 - Our sixth graders are having fun and learning with Ozobots! Today we learned how to connect via Bluetooth and added basic lines of code.

STEM Enrichment 6 - Check out some pictures of our awesome students participating in the Storm Drain Retrieval Challenge lab. The goal, create a retrieval device to get the speaker, sunglasses, phone, charging cord, and Magic Band out of the storm drain (buckets).
