We’re following the Yellow Brick Road-eo to a weekend of dancing, friend reunions, new friendships, and “okay, ONE more dance!” There’s only ONE first GDR—and I cannot wait to share it with you!

GDR Choreography Competition info 🤠
Got a dance you’d love to see on the floor? GDR needs YOU! The competition is Friday, November 6, with divisions for Beginner/Improver, Intermediate, Intermediate Phrased, Advanced, and Advanced Phrased.
It’s open to choreographers at every experience level, and your dance can be new or previously released. You may enter up to three dances per division. At least one choreographer must attend and perform each entry, and a weekend pass is required.
Step sheets are due October 15. Entry is $10 per dance; November 5-8, 2026 in Gettysburg, PA; Register here: 724onthefloorlinedancing.com/gdr

I’d personally like to invite you to join us at the Gettysburg Dance Rodeo, November 5–8, 2026. 💛
This year, we’re asking you to Follow the Yellow Brick Road-eo… and I can’t begin to tell you how much thought, time, planning, and conversation has gone into what’s waiting at the end of that road.
Over the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to attend several multi-room line dance weekends. Along the way, I paid attention to the things I loved—the little ideas that made a weekend more fun, more comfortable, more social, or just more memorable. I took those favorites, mixed in plenty of my own ideas and personal touches, and built the kind of weekend I would want to attend myself.
GDR isn’t meant to be a copy of another event. I wanted to create something that feels different—something I truly believe we haven’t had quite like this in Pennsylvania.
Multiple dance rooms. Different styles and levels. Incredible instructors and DJs. Competitions, workshops, vendors, late-night fun, activities beyond the dance floor, and plenty of little surprises tucked throughout the weekend.
But more than any of that, I want it to be a place where people dance, laugh, reconnect with old friends, make some new ones, and go home saying, “That was a weekend.”
I’ve poured a whole lot of myself into this one, and I would absolutely love for you to come experience it with us.
