SCCAP is hiring! We have a new position open for a part-time Event and Marketing Coordinator housed in our Franklin or Adams County office.

Do you love bringing people together for a great cause? SCCAP is looking for a Part-Time Event and Marketing Coordinator to help plan and bring to life fundraising events that support families and strengthen our community.

This hands-on position will help coordinate events like Race Against Poverty, Empty Bowls, the Adams County Community Foundation Giving Spree, and other SCCAP community events, working with volunteers, local businesses, sponsors, and SCCAP staff.

Part-Time Event and Marketing Coordinator – Main office in Adams or Franklin County • Average 20 hours per week • $22–$25/hour, depending on experience • Great fit for someone who is organized, creative, comfortable with social media and event coordination and promotion, and enjoys working with people.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years working on various fundraising events such as walk/runs, auctions, golf tournaments, celebrations, banquets (our Race has over 800 walkers and runners).
· Minimum of 3 years recruiting and working with volunteers for various organizational needs
· Experience creating and designing fliers and event materials on Canva
· Knowledge of social media marketing and event promotion strategies
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
· Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

SCCAP is hiring! Our WIC Office in Adams County is hiring a Bilingual Receptionist/Program Assistant!

This is a full-time position with the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program in Adams County, PA. At South Central Community Action Programs where our mission is to empower, engage, and cultivate community action, creating innovative and effective solutions to end poverty!

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting, scheduling appointments, determining eligibility, collecting data and performing various duties to ensure the delivery of WIC benefits, nutrition education and breastfeeding support.

Applicants should possess office/medical experience, computer and phone skills. Must enjoy a fast-paced atmosphere and possess excellent customer service skills. Positive attitude is required for this team. Must be able to speak and write English and Spanish fluently.

SCCAP is hiring! Our Family Services has a position open for a Case Manager and Person-Centered Coach.

Are you someone who believes people are the experts in their own lives? Do you enjoy helping people recognize their strengths, work through challenges, and move toward goals that matter to them? SCCAP is looking for a Case Manager/Person-Centered Coach to work alongside individuals and families as they build greater stability and work toward their own vision of success.

At SCCAP, person-centered coaching means we don't decide what someone should do or what their goals should be. We listen, build relationships, help people identify what matters most to them, explore possibilities, navigate community resources, and support them as they develop and carry out their own plans.

This position connects families with resources related to housing, employment, education, childcare, healthcare, financial stability and other needs while providing encouragement, problem-solving support, and practical assistance along the way.

We are looking for someone who:
• Genuinely enjoys working with people from all walks of life
• Believes every person deserves dignity and respect
• Is a good listener and can build trusting relationships
• Can help people identify strengths, possibilities and next steps without taking over
• Knows, or is excited to learn about, community resources and human service systems
• Can balance relationship-building with good organization, follow-through, and documentation
• Bilingual Spanish or Haitian Creole preferred but not required
