Jacob Weikert Farm
The privately-owned, historic Jacob Weikert farm is located on the Gettysburg Battlefield, just east of Little Round Top.
It was used by the Union Army as a field hospital in July, 1863, and nearly 1000 wounded soldiers were treated here.

With thanks to the Michael Waricher Battlefield Perspectives page:
This photo of Little Roundtop, taken from the west and looking east, was taken in 1924. Michael recently found it in the National Archives Catalog. The Jacob Weikert Farm appears in the upper right corner. The second photo is a closer view with the barn on the right (the silo was removed around 2000), the carriage house in the center, and the partially-obscured rear of the house on the left. Also appearing are several other outbuildings which no longer exist.
